Even taking my dislike for Mr. Burton into account, I feel like the double
whammy of them taking so long to invite him in the first place and that his
name hasn't been brought up as a finalist (other than by the cult) speaks to
something the producers know about him or his personality that is not being
made public. Based on what I've been told about the latter, I'd assume it's
that.
