In their statement, CNN says: “in the process of [the] review, additional information has come to light. Despite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.” Zucker seems to have been doing everything he could to leave the door open for Cuomo to come back; it seems they learned something between Monday and today that was even worse than what we already know that forced them to pull the trigger immediately on canning his ass.
