While the TV world awaits Jimmy Kimmel's annual pummeling later today, here's ABC's fall scheduled as listed by TV Insider--new shows in all caps, all times Eastern:
MONDAY: 8:00--Bachelor in Paradise--The once-late summer entry in the "Bachelor" franchise is now the fall entry, going against "The Voice" and the former holder of the time slot "Dancing with the Stars," which has moved to Disney+. Four Monday Night Football games will air in this slot, simulcast on ESPN (no indication if there will be the ManningCast on the Deuce). 10:00--The Good Doctor TUESDAY: 8:00--Bachelor in Paradise 10:00--THE ROOKIE: FEDS--The cop procedural becomes a franchise with the stories of three FBI rookies, the oldest played by Niecy Nash-Betts (who is also hosting Fox's reboot of "Don't Forget the Lyrics!," which starts on Monday). WEDNESDAY: 8:00--The Conners (new time) 8:30--The Goldbergs (new time)--With any luck, Jeff Garlin's character should be dead. 9:00--Abbott Elementary (new day)--The only scripted OTA network series to get any kind of love last season (other than CBS' "Ghosts"). 9:30--Home Economics 10:00--Big Sky (new day) THURSDAY: 8:00--Station 19 9:00--Grey's Anatomy 10:00--ALASKA--Hilary Swank plays a journalist who makes a deadly career-ending error, moves to Alaska to shake it off and gets a job for a newspaper in Anchorage (which will probably be bought out by Alden Capital and receive massive layoffs). I'll assume it's either ABC Signature or 20th. FRIDAY: 8:00--Shark Tank 9:00--20/20 SATURDAY: 8:00--College Football SUNDAY: 7:00--America's Funniest Home Videos 8:00--CELEBRITY JEOPARDY!--Not exactly new, since this has been appearing on the weekday show frequently during sweeps for years, but you know. No indication if Mayim Bialik or Ken Jennings will host. Of course it's from Sony. 9:00--Celebrity Wheel of Fortune 10:00--The Rookie Only one new show announced for mid-season: "Not Dead Yet," a one-camera sitcom with Gina Rodriguez as a royal Fup who can only get work writing obituaries. "A Million Little Things," "The Wonder Years" (once the Fred Savage matter is completely gone), "American Idol," the mainline "Bachelor" and yo "Judge Steve Harvey" will all be back mid-season. Let 'er rip, Jimmy. CBS/Paramount Global tomorrow, the liquidation of The CW Thursday. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
