PAGE 2:
In mid-season, there'll be the new TV version of "True Lies," with Steve
Howey playing the Ahnld role. James Cameron's listed as a producer, but I
think he's got all those "Avatar" movies to make. From Disney's 20th.
Also mid-season or sooner in the unscripted front will be "Super Fan,"
where contestants are tested on their knowledge of a music star and said
star shows up to do a song or two (bookings include Gloria Estefan, CBS
star LL Cool J, Shania Twain and Pitbull, papi). CBS NFL analyst and
"Mornings" host Nate Burleson hosts with Keltie Knight of "ET." In
addition, there's the reboot of "Lingo" with your host RuPaul, which will
shoot on the set of the UK version in Manchester suburb Salford (RuPaul is
also hosting a prime time celebrity edition of the UK version on ITV, which
must piss off regular host Adil Ray). They will both join returning "Tough
as Nails" and "Secret Celebrity Renovation" on the docket.
And CBS is getting back into the made-for-TV business, unfortunately with
three Hallmark Channel-ly Christmas movies, one produced by Sheryl Crow,
another starring "Talk" co-host Amanda Kloots.
Tomorrow--see The CW shrink before your very eyes!
