Three friends of mine who were pages that year readily dispute/refute the story.
A curtain was indeed put up in studio one when I was there in ‘97-‘98… for the Howie Mandel show. I recall it had to be adjusted a couple of times because that part of the ceiling (above the permanent audience seating) wasn’t designed to support any additional weight. Not sure who the woman is in the video, but her support of Tori Spelling as a talk show house made me instantly doubt what she was going to say.
