Although that's only part of the story. This isn't make it to the network, but apparently on the Live Feeds, Paloma could be seen actively and harshly campaigning against Taylor, leading a lot of people to think that Taylor would be the first evicted - which DEFINITELY wouldn't look good for the show, since both 'final' nominees this week ended up being POC. There was a twist in play that would have sent the loser of the house vote into a competition with one of a select group of houseguests (of which Paloma was included), but there still would have been a non-zero chance of a POC going home in week 1 of Big Brother - AGAIN. As it happens, Paloma's departure and her potential involvement with the competition twist give the producers a nice easy out - someone went home as advertised, and the game goes on.
