I don’t see that as an obvious or even necessary question. The original
aired just before Roe, this would air just after. Seems like a pretty
similar context. And really that episode would have been controversial at
anytime in between, considering how rarely mainstream TV characters get
abortions. I have just been doing a re-watch of Veep (for the 4th time) and
appreciated that they did it.

Would like to see a list of ten most prominent TV show characters to get an
abortion (not with an abortion as part of their backstory, but getting an
abortion after getting pregnant during the show). Are there even ten?
