Fox News is crowing that Greg Gutfeld's show was the top-rated late-night 
show for August, edging out Colbert with 2.19M average viewers to Colbert's 
2.wo16M viewers.  But from the headline in a Wrap story that is behind a 
paywall (like most of their industry coverage nowadays), one would like to 
say what a Fox game show host has his Irish studio audience say for him, 
along with many other words--"However..."

First of all, the headline states "total viewers."  It is no secret that 
(a) Fox News' audience is much older than the already aged cable news 
audience and that Colbert's audience is younger, particularly if they're 
watching on Paramount+, Pluto or YouTube videos instead of over the air and 
(b) the Fox News audience has been watching all night, if not most of the 
day, since that is their primary channel.  They were watching at 7 p.m. for
