The BBC revamped their logo earlier this year. BBC America's logo is reflecting it, although everything else is bog standard AMC Networks (who actually run the channel), including the credits zoomed down to the lower right hand corner where you can't read them.
And a few minutes ago over the final scene of that well-known British series "Star Trek: TNG," a crawl came on saying "Buckingham Palace has made a special announcement. Details on BBC World News or bbc.com." Similar to what ran on CBBC and maybe Ceebeebies in the UK earlier today. Don't want to shock the children. PS: Right now on BBCA is that well-known British film "Office Space." I don't see Ricky Gervais anywhere.
