I have not seen her show in more than a year, but as I recall she was the winner of the “Who Wants to Replace Joy Reid on Minority Saturday at MSNBC?” She was not as annoying as Reid (who is) but pushed to (and, apparently, over) the limit of what defines even a cable TV journalist.
This could be a problem for MSNBC, as increasingly their demo is left leaning women (White during the week, Minority on Weekend, even with Reid now in Primetime). They will no doubt be looking for a Black woman to take her seat pronto, even if it’s Whoopi Goldberg. Wasn’t it Tamron Hall who refused to accept being moved from MSNBC weekday to Weekend, calling out their attempt to ghettoize Saturday and marginalize minority journalists?
