The high school football drama will be back for its sixth season on the 
network transitioning to its new owners Nexstar, probably because the Greg 
Berlanti-produced show doesn't need the special effects that his Arrowverse 
shows require, but it is still interesting that the first renewal order of 
president Brad Schwartz (who rolled the dice on "Schitt's Creek" and won 
when he ran Paramount's Pop TV) isn't the presumed future of the C-Dub of 
unscripted or foreign imports:
