I think they are saying if you currently pay $9.99 for P+Premium, you will now get everything you had before plus Showtime at no additional cost. That would describe me, so I am happy. But I assume if you currently pay for Showtime (must be at least $9.99) and not P+, you will now get P+ without ads for no additional cost (or less, if Showtime is currently more than $9.99). Seems like you should be happy.
If you currently pay $4.99 (or whatever it is) for basic P+, you can stand Pat, and not get Showtime, or you can upgrade the extra 5$ and get both P+ without ads and Showtime. Seems like that person should be happy too. This sounds like a good Eval all around, which makes me certain that in 3 months they will be raising the price of “Paramount + with Showtime” to at least $15.
