As further proof that the "Dare to Defy" era is over at the CW, along with the new head of DC Films saying that the Arrowverse of Greg Berlanti is kaput in his presentation of Phase 1 of the new DCCU and the net hiring an unscripted programming chief for the first time from NBC's cable division (including Bravo), two major scripted executives at the network have been laid off along with an unknown number of others:
