The sitcom about two fledgling Black entrepreneurs on Chicago's south side
was one of three Comedy Central live action series that then-Viacom sold to
HBO Max after their first seasons as part of cutting down the original
programming slate to animated series shared with Paramount+, "TDS" and the
Charlamagne da God show--"South Side" made it to a third season on the
streamer, but has now been cancelled:

And of the other Comedy Central transplants, if the lily-white "The Other
Two" (even if one of the two lead characters is gay) stays around and
"Awkafina is Nora from Queens" doesn't, Daddy Zaslav better get ready for
the race card accusations.
