In September 1992, I saw two episodes of his show taped at NBC in Chicago shortly after I arrived in town as a bright-eyed college freshman. That was when it was still a relatively serious show, akin to "Donahue," rather than what it turned into.
There was a lunch break between the two shows, and I found myself in the men's room using the urinal next to Jerry. I couldn't think of anything to say, though.
