NBC agreed to renew the One Chicago Wednesday and "L&O" Thursday franchises for 22 episodes each--but the regular cast members will be doing 18-to-20 out-of-22 next season (with perhaps some exceptions like, uh, Mariska--gotta have Olivia Benson on every "SVU")--"Organized Crime" is only renewed for 13 and it's assumed the regular cast will appear in every episode--meanwhile at CBS, Chuck Lorre's "Bob Heart Abishola," produced by WB like the other Lorre shows, got a fifth season renewal, but only for 13 eps (just barely making enough for syndication) and with only title characters Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku working the entire season--the other 9 regulars will be recurring in only 5 episodes each and be allowed to take other gigs:
