Corden did have two segments spin off into stand-alone programs - Carpool
Karaoke and Drop the Mic. He's also had primetime specials, something rare for
a late night host these days.
Of the other current guests, I think Fallon is the only one who compares with
monetizing bits. That's My Jam seems to be spun out of his various celebrity
music bits from his Tonight/Late Night tenure. There's also Lip Sync Battle,
which ran for a long time on various iterations of what is currently the
Paramount network.
While Colbert and Meyers have other projects, they don't seem that linked to
their respective shows. Even Tooning Out the News wasn't that integrated with
Colbert's Late Show, aside from occasional quick promos when they were still
doing that 2 minute act around 12:20 am. I guess Our Cartoon President was a
recurring bit for Colbert before becoming a show, I don't remember it running
that long before getting a show, or being that viral.
So, maybe, the big notion about 10 years ago that virality was important to the
future of Late Night hasn't materialized as expected. I'm not trying to say it
doesn't matter, but I think the economic of it haven't justified the expense.

includes that revenue.
For those of us who grew up decades ago we knew we wouldn’t always have Carson,
but we didn’t know that the American TV landscape wouldn’t need a Carson or
Carson equivalent.
