I am curious if Fox is considering moving "Gutfeld!" to the OTA
network--probably not, considering their lousy track record with
late-night. But I'm also wondering if Newsmax or OAN will try to go after
Gutfeld by trying to find a rightwing standup who will freely say all of
those racial and gender slurs on television every night, thinking that will
juice the ratings (especially with Carlson gone from Fox). Yeah, there
would be advertising problems, but are there any big advertisers on those
channels anyway? (And besides, considering that Colbert seems to have
direct-response on his show every night, even in the first break, where I
assume advertisers pay premium prices to share the screen with Louis Cato
and the band playing silently and the "coming up" lower thirds...)
