There really is a cat cafe down the street from where I live here in 
Chicago--it was around before "Call Me Kat."

I should mention that in the superior British original "Miranda," the place 
Miranda Hart worked at was a joke shop inherited from her uncle.  If you 
haven't seen it yet, it's running in the U.S. on Tubi and FIlmRise and Hart 
has the presence and comic timing that Bialik wishes she had.
