The odd thing about Ryan Murphy's deals is that he's managed to have a hand in both Disney and Netflix camps all the way through. Anything he'd already got going seemed to be fair game for extension. So more seasons of "American Horror Story", "American Crime Story" and indeed "American [INSERT NEW CATEGORY HERE] Story...". That's aside from having Feud as well!
Meantime, "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" has been a hit for Netflix and as well as the already ordered second season, you would anticipate that they'll have "Monster: The [INSERT SERIAL KILLER NAME HERE] Story" for as long as they want to keep having them. So I'm not really sure what kind of exclusivity these development deals really get anyone.
