This can really only hurt the writers guild, because the flawed perception by way too many outside the industry is that the writers are less important than the on camera talent. Which means the focus of the negotiations will now be with SAG instead of WGA. Unions show a lot of solidarity when only one is striking, but two striking unions can result in jealousies and blood feuds.
