I’m not so sure about that. I was reviewing the list of shows impacted by the Writers strike and found only a handful that really impacted me (I would like to see the next season of Severance).
Unlike past strikes, which threatened or actually did rob us most quality scripted viewing options, I have a ton of shows I have never seen to choose from. They could be on strike for two years and I suspect I might not ever notice, unless Jeopardy is affected. Not only are there so many first run premium streaming shows that I have not yet seen, but lots of vintage programs I would be happy to watch (after some years of trying I am still only have way through the classic Perry Mason shows, and I have the complete DVD set off Mannix that I am only a third of the way through season 1).
