I suppose my chief complaint about the streaming services is that they seem to have countless viewing options… except for the shows I want to watch. When I cut the cord on cable, I used that money to buy dvd box sets or season passes on iTunes, so now I own those shows outright. Very few of the vintage shows I binge watch have been readily available on streaming. There are often rumors that Moonlighting will pop up somewhere, but it hasn’t yet. Homicide Life On The Street is viewable seemingly only in my house (I even bought the movie/finale on DVD so my set os complete). Westerns are almost impossible to find (Wild Wild West, Bonanza, Have Gun Will Travel… even F Troop). Then there is the nefarious streaming proclivity of only having some episodes of a series available (Happy Days, Wings, Cheers) as if to say, “hey, we’ve literally done the bare minimum for you.”
