Most people are probably like Tom; for me the pleasure comes from
satisfying my somewhat neurotic completism, mostly impossible to have done
for vintage shows originally prior to at least VCR. For instance I saw a
lot of Mannix back in the day in first run, but skipped a lot of episodes,
and even whole seasons, for one reason or another. Reruns were out of order
and grossly edited for more commercials. I dig going back and taking in the
whole thing in sequence.

As per Kevin, the availability of shows does change often, hence my
original post. I have done a complete rewatch of Cheers and Wings, since
the Pandemic, without any missing episodes. The complete Cheers appears to
still be available (Hulu and P+) but no longer Wings. Happy Days is
available, but with missing episodes (none from S1)

Wild Wild West is now available on Amazon (may have been part of the recent
Mannix, Barnaby Jones release on same service). Have Gun… is (apparently
completely) available on Pluto, which does not help me out much, but it is
there. Bonanza is one of those programs, like Gunsmoke, with many missing
episodes and seasons.

I do think there is a market for complete seasons of vintage programs,
especially if they came with DVD like special features and interviews with
surviving cast or TV critics.
