periodic review of The Beeb ongoing... and questioned about the Edwards 
sitch amid concerns government is a bit too cosy with the pubcaster, 
culture secretary Lucy Frazer defended her meeting with director general 
Tim Davie, whilst the committee chairperson felt the chairperson of the 
Beeb's board would have been a better choice...
