Daddy Zaslav had already taken off of Max the bulk of 50s and (yes, way
lesser) 60s titles from the Looney Tunes series of shorts, including most
of the Road-Runner shorts, "What's Opera Doc?" and "Knighty Night Bugs,"
the short that made Bugs Bunny that Oscar-winning rabbit, and when an
announcement came that they were taking off *all* theatrical Looney Tunes
shorts as of Dec. 31 (which technically doesn't include all shorts released
theatrically, since the so-called Censored Eleven and the Chuck Jones
classic "The Dover Boys" have never been on Max), an animation community
already angry over "Coyote vs. Acme" went into further disgust, although
now WBD says that was an error and the shorts will continue to be on Max:

When asked for his opinions on Zaslav, Mr. Bunny said, "What a maroon!
What an embezzle!"
