The anthology series began in 2017 when the channel was still owned by Fox with "Bette and Joan," the story of Ms. Davis and Ms. Crawford making "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" together and fighting the whole way--the pandemic and producer Ryan Murphy's unsuccessful stint at Netflix delayed a second season, but it will premiere on Jan. 31 and will be "Capote vs. the Swans," about the relationship of the "In Cold Blood" author Truman Capote with New York's highest-profile socialites in the 60s, with Tom Hollander as Capote, Naomi Watts as Babe Paley (wife of CBS founder Bill Paley, played here by Treat Williams), Diane Lane as Slim Keith, Chloe Sevigny as C.Z. Guest, Calista Flockhart as Jackie O's sister Lee Radziwill, Demi Moore as Ann "Bang Bang" Woodward and Molly Ringwald as Joanne Carson, who I assume was the Joanne Carson who was one of Johnny's wives:
