Audacy, the radio station owner and podcast producer in bankruptcy formerly known as Entercom, of which most of its news-talk stations are almost solidly conservative, is about to have one of rightwing talk's favorite targets become Audacy's largest individual shareholder: Soros Fund Management, run by--you guessed it--billionaire supporter of progressive causes (and diehard capitalist) George Soros:
https://thedesk.net/news/george-soros-audacy-stock-investment/ Audacy's holdings include the former CBS-owned stations, and outside of the all-news stations formerly owned by CBS in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, almost every Audacy talk station is solidly conservative (even MInneapolis' WCCO, the symbol of full service non-political "Good Neighbor" radio, carried Rush Limbaugh--they replaced him after his death with local programming and carry very little syndicated programs otherwise). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
