A former script coordinator for the CBS series is suing CBS Studios and parent Paramount Global, with the help of attorneys from the America First Legal Foundation, founded by former Trump staffer Stephen Miller, claiming that the bosses denied him a staff writer job and hired minorities and women with less experience instead, in accordance with diversity guidelines set by Paramount, and is asking for $500,000 and a court order giving him a production position on "SEAL Team" and barring future similar hiring practices:
