it was recently announced that Rogers would be taking a bunch of American
content away from Corus: The Food Network is one of them.

THIS WEEK’S PODCAST: Food fight at Corus/Rogers result of removal of genre
protection – brioux.tv

It's an hour-long interview, but it covers a lot of info from the guy that
was Formerly the licensing guy at Corus. He doesn't spill any internal
beans, but does provide a lot of context on how foreign licensing of
content in Canada used to work under old regulations (say a decade ago),
and how things have changed now (streaming, FAST, and no "genre protection"
on linear channels).
