Outside of some unscripted shows like "Welcome to Wrexham," the cable channel has been placing its originals on Hulu exclusively lately (most notably "The Bear"), but with the success of "Shogun" there are a number of new scripted series airing on the linear FX this fall: A new sitcom called "English Teacher" on Sept. 2 (but of course "The Bear" is considered a sitcom when many disagree), the second season of Jeff Bridges' "The Old Man" on Sept. 12 and another Ryan Murphy "American ____ Story" anthology called "American Sports Story" on Sept. 17, about NFL star Aaron Hernandez (although Murphy's "American Story" series go back to the days before Disney bought the channel and the establishment of the hub on Hulu and those series have continued to premiere on linear):
