The comedy duo of Mitzi McCall and Charlie Brill had their big television 
debut on "The Ed Sullivan Show" on Feb. 9, 1964--the same show where four 
lovable moptops from Liverpool made their American television debut--and 
the two of them had to follow a Beatles song with the girls in the studio 
audience still screaming--the two of them survived and had a steady career 
in Hollywood, if not exactly super-celebrity--Ms. McCall and Brill were 
married for 64 years, appeared on "Laugh-In" and many game shows together, 
while she got her start doing a kiddie show in Pittsburgh and made many 
series appearances and cartoon voices, along with being a writer as 
well--and her godchildren are Melissa and Sara Gilbert--she died Thursday 
in a Burbank hospital accompanied by many of her loved ones:
