The spinoff of "9-1-1," once owned by the network, is now owned by Disney
(through 20th Television) and there just isn't the interest in shows that
aren't owned at least in part by the network and aren't animation, sports
or unscripted--the upcoming fifth season will be the last and no indication
if it will join the mothership at ABC next year:

Star Rob Lowe does have a contract for hosting unscripted at Fox and just
finished shooting two cycles of the game show "The Floor" through the Irish
company that makes three other game shows and a reality comp for the
network in Ireland.
