Instead of the first-season drama "Rescue: HI-Surf," the post-Big Game
attraction on Feb. 7 will be the beginning of the third cycle of the Rob
Lowe game show "The Floor"--it's the first unscripted after the Super Bowl
since "Gordon Ramsay's Next Level Chef" two years ago on (of course) Fox
and the episode of "Rescue" that would've aired that night will air the
next night in its regular slot:

"The Floor" is the first out-and-out studio game show to follow the Big
Game--seven of the genre have followed the game since the reality genre
started showing up on network television at the turn of the
century--"Survivor" did two CBS airings in a row in 2001 and 2004, followed
by the premiere of "Undercover Boss" on CBS in 2010, "The Voice" in 2012 on
NBC, the CBS bomb "The World's Best" in 2019, "The Masked SInger" on Fox
the following year and Ramsay in 2023. Last year, on CBS it was Colbert's
favorite show "Tracker," while the Nickelodeon slimulcast was followed by
the cartoon "Rock Paper Scissors" with "The Fart Joke Episode" (oh boy).
NBC has already announced that Winter Olympics coverage will follow the
2026 Super Bowl.
