The Beeb wants to put in extensions of their three national music radio stations on Digital Audio Broadcast (popular in the UK and Europe, failed in Canada and we're stuck with the inferior and wildly unsuccessful HD) to join urban/hip-hop Radio 1xtra and adult alternative 6Music and basically commercial radio, particularly those stations that haven't been swallowed up by big corporations, claim that it's going to put them out of business:
