The veteran mentalist made 88 appearances with Carson, along with over 100 appearances each with Mike Douglas, Merv and Regis and Kathie Lee, appearances on many other shows and his own Canadian/syndicated series "The Amazing World of Kreskin"--he claimed that an incident on his first appearance with Steve Allen where he slipped and fell on stage was taken by Carson as a running gag in his Carnac the Magnificent bit (which was a rewrite of Allen's Question Man and a similar bit comedy writer Bob Arbogast did on LA disc jockey DIck Whitingill's show)--died at his Caldwell, NJ home:
