The new owner of Foxtel, Australia's predominant cable and satellite
provider and a player in streaming is DAZN, a minor streamer in the U.S.
but a global power in sports streaming--they intend to take over from News
Corp. sometime in 2025, as Murdoch seems to want to clean out his holdings
in case any other family member besides Lachlan takes them over when he
dies:

Foxtel already has a heavy sports commitment and also owns the Australian
rights to HBO programming (including "Succession," which had to PO
Murdoch)--I would be interested to see what happens with Sky News
Australia, which is run by Murdoch and is essentially an Aussie Fox News
(their slogan: "Real News, Honest Views"), unlike the UK Sky News, now
run by Comcast.
