I suspect that with the entrance of pure streamers into the sports arena, the idea of being able to bundle a bunch of channels to give consumers "all the sport" is basically impossible. As it stands, the DirectTV offering excludes CBS/Paramount+, but also all the remaining regional sports networks. Then add in whatever sports Netflix picks up on a regular basis - and after its success with the NFL Christmas games, it's bound to. In much of the world, Netflix is now home for *all* WWE, not just RAW. They're currently heavily promoting the Royal Rumble on Netflix UK, which is not PPV here. Amazon obviously has Thursday Night NFL, and in parts of Europe, including the UK, a first pick of a Tuesday UEFA Champions' League game. Apple has MLS.
It seems unlikely that one group can package all of these up in a way that makes much more sense than subscribing separately to a bunch of services.
