The unbelievable thing is that the story exists in the negative space of
the article. WBD took the HBO out of HBO Max because they were adding a ton
of content from Discovery. If you look at the last paragraph of the article
where Casey Bloys talks about what people want from Max, none of it is
Discovery shows. They can’t grow the streaming service on Discovery shows
so they’re getting pushed to the background.
