The main public radio network and three groups in Colorado--the Colorado 
Public Radio network, KAJX Aspen (which brands as "Aspen Public Radio") and 
KSUT Ignacio (in the "Four Corners" area of four states)--is claiming that 
the Trump Administration's calls for defunding NPR and PBS is violating the 
First Amendment because of allegations of "bias" by the right (never mind 
that some on the left have accused NPR on "both-siding"  and "sanewashing" 
Trump) and that includes indirect payments to the networks (a lot of NPR 
stations, especially in rural areas, use the majority of their funding from 
the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to pay the membership fees to get 
the NPR drive time news shows that have the most listeners)--and like so 
many of Trump's executive orders, it is doing what Congress has to approve 
or has already approved:
