Strictly my opinion, of course, but it seems hard to poke fun at a sports media

toast once Paramount-Skydance merger is done? This is why I still admire Dan
Patrick. He might note odds on events, though it's likely only due to a
sponsorship from a legal book, and when he or his "Danettes" wander into hot
take land, it's nearly always with comedic intent.    BTom Wolper, to moi, in
part, July 11th:I have been following an ex-ESPN journalist named Joon Lee on
YouTube. He says that there are two things ruining sports today. One is the hot
take industry, of which he was once a part. The other is the attention being
given over to sports betting but that’s not relevant to this.Sports journalists
are commanding attention and making names for themselves by offering more
outrageous takes on what’s going on in sports without doing any research or
even trying to get confirmation.
