I mean, it cost $6m an episode according to a piece a few days ago in the NY Times that compared it with Severance. So, yes, it has a "lower" budget than the Apple show, but "low budget"??? I can assure the Times writer that there's plenty of drama still being made at less than that! Incidentally, The Pitt has still not made it to UK shores. I think Warners must be holding it back for the upcoming launch in the UK of HBO Max next year - assuming that Paramount doesn't complete its purchase of WBD before then and rename the service HBO Paramount+ or something.
