Sad. I spent so much time there in the 1990s. Wonderful memories.
My most memorable experience was waiting hours in the rain for *Roseanne*. I left LA the next day, and my clothes were still soaked. And, then on another occasion, one of only two times I rented a car in LA (bus strike), I got to drive on the lot, because out of the blue, a former classmate called me and invited me to contact his sister-in-law who worked for Carsey Werner, and I got to be really back-stage at *That 70s Show*. I met Will Forte that evening, and I think he was a little miffed that I didn't know who he was; I think it was his first year on SNL. I also got to see *Larry Sanders*, *Cybill*, *Grace Under Fire*, and *Hearts Afire*, but was never able to get into *Seinfeld*. I also met a years-long friend who sadly is no longer with us -- and Matt Drudge sold me a t-shirt.
