Frank Oz was off directing a Steve Martin/Eddie Murphy flick in 1999, so 
LucasArts, the video game arm of the studio, grabbed young Tom Kane, who'd 
been voicing various things there, to play Yoda for a new game... he would 
continue the role in much of the *Clone Wars* franchise, also giving the 
wartime-like narration that began each episode... went on to "Powerpuff 
Girls," "Archer" and other animated properties, also was the voice of 
Disney World's monorail and multiple OscarsĀ® telecasts... of complications
