Worried of being replaced by generative AI and the reduction of their core cable TV audience, the 32 people who present programs at the shopping channel, both linear and online, are trying to organize with SAG-AFTRA, in a portion of the TV business that has been non-union and mostly originating in right-to-work states since its 80s inception (QVC is based in West Chester, PA, I believe a non-right-to-work state):
