The only thing is that it seemed like the lightening hit awfully close to my house. Since it is a new subdivision and doesn't have grass, I don't see any burn marks. :) My BUD would probably be the largest metal item in the area. That's why I thought there was a possibility that lightening nailed it.
I DID lose a cable modem and a DVD player during that storm. Odd that nothing else went out not that I'm complaining... It was after all of this that I noticed the speed problem. Since I'm finally biting the bullet and getting a 4D (YES! A new subscriber number!!!!) I wanted to make sure that all was in good order. Otherwise I'd be scratching my head over what I did wrong with the 4D installation! Thanks all. When I get time to reverse the HTS leads I'll report back.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Bartosch" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 9:23 PM Subject: RE: [TVRO] Troubleshoot on "mover" motor? > If it is not in the receiver, it's a pretty amazing coincidence that this > all began with a lightning bolt. > -----Original Message----- ------------------------ Yahoo!
