HI,Guys!

This is roughly how I got MY former Red Roof Inn 2.8 meter solid steel dish
back to my house. Since it came from only a mile away from my house, the
settings were all pretty good, and needed no immediate resetting, as long as
I got my mount as plumb as it was to begin with.

Unfortunately, I have to completely disassemble it now, because I'm moving
from Chicago to the SF Bay area! Otherwise, it won't fit in the moving
truck (I'm actually planning to move using "PODs" )

It'll be a bit more of a chore to set up this time, as the polar mount
settings will all be different than they are now.

Guy

Fayetteville, NC, Any Recomendations?

Had a similar situation a few years back. I just cut the pole to the length
I needed removed the dish & transported on the back of a pickup. Don't take
anything
apart from the dish just remove from pole, dig your hole & cement pole
making sure
everything is plumb then put the dish back on & rotate till you get a good
picture.
You can get any wires you need from Home Depot or anyplace that sells
antenna equipment.
Since you want to run mpeg also you will need another run of rg6 for that
lnb. Good Luck.
