The colder it gets the more efficient your LNB. In the olden days before coming 
to Mexico, I always got better signals during a cold winter night. However here 
in Mexico, even though I am living more than a mile high, cold means when it 
reaches 49 F or 9 C at night. Last night it only got down to 62 F or 16 C.

problem. At night my signals get better, especially when the temperature 
outside is 30 or below. Your problem may be clouds moving in. Keep an eye on
