For TV signals, I agree, small dish is probably the better choice. 
But (if it was an option) I might go with cable to get broadband 
internet access, and I could imagine a pricing structure that made it 
worth also getting my TV signals from cable, as a result.  I'd have 
to research all that carefully.  But it's a non-issue where I live, 
since there's no cable available.

I could also do without rain fade.
