You will need at least a 31-inch dish to GBN (AMC6 Ku TP23 12144(V) SR 2573) Possibly larger, depending on where you live and your view of AMC6 Right now the GBN test signal is up.
I bought some of my FTA stuff here, http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Dishes/Free-to-air-satellite-dish.htm but you can also purchase a similar dish from the GBNTV web site: http://www.gbntv.org/PDF/Front%20Page%20Announcement.pdf Good luck. I'm happy to assist if you need further info. I am interested in watching GBN on AMC-6. It is a channel that recently was put on the air by the churches of Christ. I'd like to put up an 18 inch dish and use it for GBN exclusively. I have very little experience with small dishes. I used to be a bud man. About all I know is that an 18 inch dish works fine for my dish network subscription. But is the dish network signals stronger than those on AMC-6? I bought a Coolsat 5000 and a linear lnb for the purpose. Your experience and advice is appreciated. Thanks!
